The Terminal Cores serve as primary entrances to LAX terminals designed to provide easy access to the site's levels via elevators and escalators, as well as a direct connection to the future APM train system. One of three cores constructed by the Austin Commercial design-build team, the Terminal 6 (T5.5) Core serves as the link between the APM's Central CTA Station and Terminals 5 and 6, T5.5 provides seamless connectivity. Guests exiting the APM pedestrian walkway on the newly constructed 4th level of the building will proceed to Terminal 6’s security screening or utilize the vertical circulation to access ticketing or arrivals, facilitating convenient transit to Terminal 5.
